Alice Farmer

Alice Farmeris a refugee and human rights lawyer who focuses on climate change and forced displacement. She has published widely on refugee rights, and spent the 2024-2025 academic year on fellowship at Stanford University, seeking to drive conversations around human-rights-centered policies on climate-driven migration.

Alice has worked for NGOs and the UN in four continents, reporting on refugee issues and advocating for international standards; much of her work has been on behalf of unaccompanied refugee children. Farmer, who has served on boards of community-based conservation groups, is currently based in Washington D.C. and is originally from London, UK.
