The elephants await your arrival. Come and walk amongst the herd, feel their majesty and peacefulness. Listen to the birdsong in the trees and be part of their ancient world. Stand with the matriarchs leading their families, sense their quiet power and share a moment of connection. The planet is our home, and theirs. The herd is here to share their story of coexistence; that there is room for all of us on this planet. We hope this exhibition reminds us of the awe we feel when in the company of wild, free animals and inspires us to better share our world with them.
Visit the Herd
The 100-strong herd is on the move again. In August, their global journey brings them Boston, MA, where they will migrate along Commonwealth Avenue Mall with sightings of smaller family groups expected along Dartmouth Street and outside Boston Public Library.

RUTH GANESH & THE REAL ELEPHANT COLLECTIVE
As The Great Elephant Migration Migration arrives in Boston, we acknowledge that the city centre stands on the unceded ancestral homelands of the Massachusett people, with deep ties to the Pawtucket, Wampanoag, and Nipmuc nations, who have lived, travelled, and cared for these lands for millennia.
We recognise the ongoing presence, resilience, and leadership of Indigenous peoples across the region, and we offer respect and gratitude to the communities who continue to steward these lands today.
