Introducing

Leonor Varela

"Elephants inspire awe and respect: their gentle strength and wisdom is evident to whom ever has had the blessing of meeting them. I had the honor back in 2004, and have never forgotten that feeling since. But I have fallen more deeply in love with elephants as I learned they are truly a matriarchal group, where grandmothers and mothers play a fundamental role in the survival of the herd. This resonates with our times deeply.  I am so pleased to lend my voice and support to the Great Elephant Migration exhibition, that underlines the importance of our connection between race, and the wildlife that surrounds us to which all we belong."
