Ruth Ganesh is an environmentalist, creative director and producer of some of the world’s most ambitious public art exhibitions for conservation. She conceived and delivered The Great Elephant Migration, a groundbreaking 5,000-mile travelling exhibition of 100 life-sized elephant sculptures that crossed the United States, raising millions of dollars for human-wildlife coexistence and bringing the story of India’s conservation success to audiences nationwide.

Over the past two decades, Ruth has pioneered a model that combines art, culture, storytelling and philanthropy to inspire environmental action. Her exhibitions have appeared in some of the world’s most iconic public spaces, including London’s Royal Parks, New York’s Meatpacking District, Miami Art Basel, Beverly Hills, and Blackfeet Nation in Montana.

To date, projects under her creative direction have raised more than $30 million for wildlife conservation, habitat connectivity, ecosystem restoration and community-led coexistence initiatives. Her portfolio includes Elephant Parade Mumbai, The Fabergé Big Egg Hunt in New York City, The Carbon Collective, The Animal Ball and The Great Elephant Migration.

Ruth’s work has received numerous honours, including Best Cultural Attraction, Most Innovative Fundraising Campaign and two Guinness World Records. She has been awarded the Key to the City of Las Vegas and was recognised by the California State Treasurer for her outstanding creative contribution to conservation.
